FESPA Awards 2017 now open for entries
FESPA, the global federation of national associations for the print industry, has announced a new judging schedule for its 2017 Awards programme, taking place alongside FESPA 2017 in Hamburg in May. The FESPA Awards is the print industry’s only independent, global Awards programme to celebrate the achievements and innovations within the print industry and non-printed signage industry.
Now in its 26th year, the programme is renowned for unearthing talent across all disciplines of the printing industry. Christian M Walter, Managing Director of previous winner, Taller de Serigrafia, stated “There is no better publicity for a print studio than winning a prize as prestigious as a FESPA Gold Award. Anybody who is entirely convinced to have done something extraordinary should send their submissions, as these awards are a major showcase for a printer´s work and skills.”
SIX FACTORS DRIVING GROWTH FOR TURKISH PRINTERS
by Neil Felton, FESPA CEO
Travelling around the world with FESPA, I meet printers on every continent who are positive about the future of their business. That mood is backed up by our global research; 80% of respondents to the FESPA Print Census stated that they were very or fairly optimistic for their businesses.
Since we launched FESPA Eurasia in Istanbul in 2013, I’ve taken a close interest in the Turkish market, and I see many reasons for Turkish printers in particular to face the future with excitement and ambition. From my perspective, here are six key factors driving growth in speciality print:
FESPA UNVEILS VISITOR FEATURE PROGRAMME FOR FESPA EURASIA 2016
FESPA has confirmed its content programme at FESPA Eurasia 2016 (8 – 11 December 2016 at the CNR Expo in Istanbul, Turkey), providing visitors with a line-up of inspiring educational and interactive features.
FESPA Eurasia will deliver a free educational conference programme exploring the latest industry trends, case studies and technology developments across wide format, screen and digital print, textile print, garment decoration and signage.
FESPA EURASIA 2016 ATTRACTS WEALTH OF FIRST TIME EXHIBITORS
Another wave of first-time exhibitors signing up to FESPA Eurasia 2016 (8-11 December), is further validation of the importance placed on the event as a platform to reach key decision makers in the wide format screen and digital printing, textile printing and garment decoration and signage industry.
With less than five weeks to go before the doors open at CNR Expo, Istanbul, a number of exhibitors have expanded their stand footprint, meaning 90% of space has now been confirmed.
